Chazan Gallery Call for Proposals 2008
The Chazan Gallery is accepting artists' proposals for solo and group shows for its 2009 - 2010 exhibition season.
Deadline: December 5, 2008
What to submit:
Artists should submit no more than twenty 35 mm slides or digital images of work made in the last five years. Details of individual pieces are counted toward the maximum number of submissions. Image numbers 1 – 5 will be juried in the first round.
SLIDES: Each slide should be numbered 1-20 in upper right corner and labeled with your name, title and date of work. Indicate TOP of slide with arrow. Include a corresponding numbered list of the slides submitted giving the title, dimensions, medium and date of completion of each work.
DIGITAL: All CD-R’s MUST be PC/Mac compatible. Images should be in JPEG format, no larger than 1200 pixels in any dimension and at 300 dpi. CD’s should be clearly labeled with artist name, email address and phone number. Digital files should be named as follows: number 1-20_lastname_abbreviated title.jpg (for example: 1_smith_shortttl.jpg). In printed form, include a numbered list of corresponding digital images giving title, dimensions, medium and date of completion of each work.
STATEMENTS AND RESUMES / CV’s: Must be in printed form. Please include an artist’s statement and an up-to-date resume. If applicable, include url to artists website.
PROPOSAL: A brief proposal for group or solo show.
Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with submission packet.

Gallery Hours:
12 - 5 PM Tuesday through Saturday.
3 to 5 PM Sunday.
The Gallery is closed on Mondays.
There is no admission charge.
